Aalborg Hotel is a typical family owned hotel with 36 rooms situated right opposite the beautiful Sarphatipark and near the centre of Amsterdam and the RAI Congress Centre. The hotel was founded in 1952 and completely renovated in 2006. Hotel Aalborg has only a breakfast restaurant. Within 250 meters of the hotel you will find all kinds of restaurants (Dutch, French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Spanish, Indonesian, etc.). The reception is open day and night. Coffee, tea, beer, soft drinks, snacks, postcards, stamps and cigarettes can be bought 24 hours a day. Additional information - The hotel has a 24-hour reception. - There is a surcharge of 4% for credit card payments. Please note: your creditcard will be authorized for the amount of the 1st night. Should the hotel not get authorization the staff might have to cancel your booking. - Pets are not allowed - Luggage can be stored at the reception.

Surroundings

The main musea and the Concert Hall are at walking distance or are reachable by tram in a few minutes (stop at 50 meters from the hotel, tram 25 stop 2e van de Helstraat). The famous Albert Cuyp market is at 3 minutes by foot from the hotel. Also the Heineken Experience and the canal boates can be reached within a 5 minute walk. The city centre (Dam Square) and the RAI Congress Centre can be reached by tram in about 8 minutes.
